A Few Juicy Morsels
- Quite frankly, we don't have too much to say about the TCU season opener that we didn't say last year in our epic 18-part series, FrogMeat. Thankfully, the Triumvirate of Awesome (the Hill Country Fare BearMeat) has picked up on two of our themes, Embrace the Absurdity and the AirBear offense, combined the two and launched game previews of the TCU game and the Rice game.

- Mike Leach: The West Texas Confucius. Though we are a Baylor sports blog, we've often thought of converting into a Mike Leach fan blog. He's just that interesting. Thanks to the work of PB at Burnt Orange Nation and Bond J. Bond at DiscoTech!, we've stumbled upon two videos of Texas Tech head coach Mike Leach that are just pure gold. The first is an interview after Tech beat A&M at Kyle Field in which Lubbock's King Solomon reduced the conflict to two archetypes: the soldier and the pirate. The second is local news hijinks with Leach and the local weather guy. Also gold. Enjoy!
