AgricMeat: Rush the Empty Floor

More than just a Baylor sports blog, the true essence of BearMeat is our anti-Aggie creed. Not a day goes by that we don't remark "Gig this!" and begin taunting Ags for their backwoods customs. Thanks to Slate's article on the 11 most hateable teams in the Tourney, BearMeat has stumbled upon this little YouTube nugget, that we couldn't hide under a bushel; we had to let it shine. First, we'll let Slate set up the video:

A&M was playing a big game at Kansas on Feb. 3. The Jayhawks had never lost to a Big 12 South team on their home court, and a victory would cement the Aggies' ascendance from also-ran to a national power. Back in College Station, a few dozen Aggie fans gathered at Reed Arena, A&M's empty home court, to watch the game on the Jumbotron. Sure enough, the Aggies won on a last second 3-pointer by their marvelous point guard, Acie Law IV. And then the students at Reed Arena rushed the court. That's right, they rushed the empty basketball court.

I'm not going to say Baylor wouldn't do the same thing; hell, we'd probably tear down the baskets and the goalposts after such a win, but thank God we've never been put in the same position.
