Hail Holy Queen Enthroned Above

Bernice Mosby Was Born To Save Us From the Sins of K-State

I love Bernice Mosby. I don't care who knows. She has filled a void in my heart that was created by the leaving of Sophia Young, the Lady Messiah of Lady Bear Hoops (Mulk would be God the Father in this analogy). Mosby's 29 against K-State capped a strong performance against KSU's perimeter assault that reminded me of the way the Gentlemen Bears play, except that KSU's shots were actually going in. All in all, it was a great all-around effort in an exciting game. [Mulk was looking incredibly fetching, clad in a brown leather coat, though she did seem preoccupied with a certain BearMeat proposition . . . ]

Mosby, in her Florida Gatoress incarnation

While we normally don't put in any time on the weekend at the old ALICO, this Saturday we had all our interns come in to work on the intern appreciation party that the editors are going to throw them next week. While there was no shortage of grumbling and complaining, we trust that due to all of the overtime they are putting in, the party will truly let them know that they are appreciated.

  • "...Mulk was looking incredibly fetching, clad in a brown leather coat..."

Around the Big 12, that coat is known as Kim's gator-wrasslin' jacket. It works on wildcats, too!

  • I hear ex-Gator tail tastes remarkably similar to current Lady Bear meat... please advise

  • Editor Scamp - That there is a bonafide "Gator Wrasslin' Jacket" indeed!

Aussie Mark - answering your question might compromise our commitment to respecting women's athletics without reference to sexual innuendo, but we'll take the bait: Gator Tail doesn't hold a candle to LadyBearMeat - does the phrase "Sweet Like BearMeat" sound familiar? If not, we've heard Tracy Morgan say it a few times on SNL.
